Kamala Devi, 42 years old dedicated health worker from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh risked her life by jumping across a flooded river to reach Hurang village and vaccinate babies. With roads blocked due to floods and landslides, she carried out her duty with remarkable courage and determination. Kamala is a person who is exceptionally courageous, fearless and determined, especially when facing adversity. She is a woman with strong spirit who is willing to face danger and stand up for what she believes in.
