Muzhathadam Government UP School, Kannur

Established in 1879, the Muzhathadam Government UP School in Thana, Kannur, has educated several generations of students in northern Kerala for over a century. With its long-standing legacy, the school has helped shape the lives of countless children. 

The Villoo Poonawalla Foundation, in collaboration with the Zoya Charitable Trust, renovated the school building. Through our joint venture, we upgraded the school’s infrastructure and facilities. By giving the school a facelift, the Villoo Poonawalla Foundation comes a step closer to educating all parts of society.
