Shreemati Nathibai Damodar Thackersey Women’s University is the first university for women in India as well as South-East Asia. The university has been committed to educating and empowering women for several decades.
The Villoo Poonawalla Foundation joined hands with SNDT Women's University to support its mission of enhancing lives through education. The Villoo Poonawalla Foundation also aided in renovations for two of the hostel buildings and the 1.5-acre park on campus.
